Real-Time Visual Feedback:

• Intuitive lights provide real-time feedback for ventilation training & chest compressions (depth, rate, recoil and finger/thumb position)
  • Ventilation
    • Correct Ventilation - Lung indicators illuminate steadily when the correct volume and rate are given
    • Ventilating Too Quickly -- Lung indicators flash twice and then illuminate
    • Ventilating Too Much -- Lung indicators will flash quickly & repeatedly.
  • Chest Compressions
    • Two indicator lights give visual feedback for:
      • Correct rate and depth
      • Compressing too deep
      • Compressing too shallowly
      • Incomplete release or finger/thumb positioning
      • Compressing too fast
• When all parts of chest compressions are performed correctly, a CPR quality indication light illuminates the forehead of the Brayden Baby manikin.
• Both sets of lights help guide the student to perform good-quality infant CPR.
